The new 20,630 sq. ft Chemistry and Biotechnology Building will present a state-of-the-artwork facility with chemistry and biochemistry labs and two 40-seat flexible school rooms. As the district’s Biotechnology program expands right into a baccalaureate diploma program, the building will provide needed area for progress. The new 24,628 gross square ft facility will provide a consolidated location and state-of-the-art facilities for all Allied Health applications, and act as the key connection to the primary campus promenade.

After the preliminary design is permitted, a preliminary estimate is developed to ascertain a rough cost for the project. Depending on the scope of the project, the preliminary design and estimate may be sequentially accredited, mixed for approval, or skipped entirely. The grading for road aspect sidewalk is happening and prepping for the promenade deck pour is underway. The project will create a new baseball stadium, clubhouse, indoor coaching facility, increased seating, locker rooms, batting cages, offices, study areas and athletic coaching room. The project created amenities for the brand new bodily, occupational, and speech and language therapy packages, in addition to house for a joint partnership with Upstate Medical University. The contractor has poured new sidewalks outside the ground ground entrance. On the first flooring, tough in for HVAC and electrical companies is nearly complete and gypsum wall work continues.

Roughing in for HVAC, plumbing and electrical is ongoing on the second ground. Gypsum board set up has started and the storm piping installation continues. On the third flooring, walls are almost full, tapers are beginning and HVAC, plumbing and electrical work continues. In the mechanical penthouse, duct work installation for each new air handlers is underway. This project renovates the west facet of Science 4 and the work is just like what occurred when the east facet of the constructing was renovated two years ago. A comprehensive ADA plan will be developed for the Oceanside campus to make sure compliance with relevant federal and state laws for campus services. Building 4700 will endure modernization work to assist update and improve school areas.
